To officially register for the team, please follow these steps:
- Complete and submit our Registration Form.
- Read the Student Handbook (not yet published). Print, sign, and turn in the student acknowledgement on the last page. This will be published after the start of the school year.
- Complete online FRC registration, including both the student AND parent registration, the 2025-2026 FIRST consent and release form, and team application. Octobots is Team 9084.
- Parents: If you are willing to consider driving students to competitions, please print, fill out, and email the Student Transportation Form Driving is highly encouraged, but not required. We need 6-8 drivers for each competition (depending on vehicle size). Do not forget to attach a photocopy of your driver’s license, vehicle registration and Insurance Policy Card/Declarations Page. Send completed forms to Assistant Principal Ian Perry ([email protected]) with either a copy OR an email stating that you have submitted the Transportation Form to [email protected].
- Prior to competitions, all parents will need to complete a Permission Slip (sample) for each Competition. This form must be signed by a parent or guardian.
CHEZY CHAMPS REGISTRATION Once you are already registered with Octobots, and you have an interest in attending the Chezy Champs competition in San Jose on September 26th through September 28th, please complete the Chezy registration form.
