Learn Robotics with fun activities and challenges! Octobots combines the craftsmanship of engineering with the high-octane excitement of high school robotics. Following design standards set by First Robotics, you’ll bring your idea to life by brainstorming, workshopping, and customizing a robot to your specifications. Students will learn basic robot movement, feedback from sensors and coding using decision logic as they delve into the fundamentals of coding. Next the students will focus on mechanical concepts, weight distribution, drivetrains, and foundational skills to understand how components come together and different use cases for creating motion.

Grab your safety glasses and get ready to build a robot from scratch and solve real world challenges! Our challenge for the Summer of 2025 is building a robot to help clean and rehabilitate a coral reef!
